In the lifetime of many drivers their vehicles will wear out a dozen or more sets of tires, and every new car usually has a different size. If you don’t find some place for tire disposal, you could end up with a garage full of tires!

Old, tread bare tires sitting in the corner of the garage or shed are a waste of space, but how do you get rid of them? Most curbside pickups will leave them behind, and they aren’t worth much to most people.

Tires are shredded, metal removed, and the materials reused to form new products. They are turned into carpets, rubber mats, flooring, spongy playground pavement, sports field turfs, and tracks, plus other things.
